Sha Tin No.3 alarm fire roundup

     A range of single-storey tin-sheeted and wooden structures measuring about 25 x 15 metres in Hung Mui Kuk Tsuen, Sha Tin was severely damaged in a No. 3 alarm fire today (August 16).

     The fire broke out at 9.32am and was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 9.50am. It was put out at 10.52am.

     Firemen used six jets and mobilised three breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze.

     No casualty was reported and no suspicious circumstances were detected about the cause of the fire.
