Bookings welcomed for free admission to remaining sessions of leisure facilities on Sport For All Day
***********************************************************

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) today (August 4) welcomed members of the public to book the remaining sessions of leisure facilities available for free use during Sport For All Day on August 8.

Facilities that still have limited sessions available include bowling green, golf driving range, table tennis table, tennis court, water sports centres' windsurfing board etc. Except for a few venues, all sessions for sports centres' multi-purpose arenas (that can be converted into badminton/basketball/volleyball/netball courts) have been booked.

Bookings for the remaining sessions of the leisure facilities can be made on a first-come-first-served basis at all Leisure Link booking counters at LCSD venues. Each person may book only one session of the facilities irrespective of the type. The LCSD appeals to hirers to make best use of the booked facilities.

The public can also enjoy free admission to the department's swimming pools (except for Wan Chai Swimming Pool and Lai Chi Kok Park Swimming Pool) during Sport For All Day on August 8. No prior booking is required. Those interested should line up at the entrance to the pools before the opening hours of each session on that day for admission on a first-come-first-served basis.

Details of Sport For All Day are available at the LCSD homepage: www.lcsd.gov.hk . For enquiries, please call 1823.
