Appeal for information on abandoned girl (with photo)

     Police are anxious to locate the next of kin of a girl who was found abandoned in Sha Tin this afternoon (Aug 2).

     About 3.45pm, Police received a report that a girl aged about six was found wandering at a bus terminus on Sha Tin Centre Street.
 
     Standing about 1.2 metres tall, the girl is of thin build with short straight black hair. She was found wearing a light blue T-shirt, black pants and pink sandals. The girl carried no identity document.

     Police urged the relatives of the girl or anyone who has information to offer to contact the duty officer of Sha Tin Police Station on 2691 2754.
