Limited sessions for free use of LCSD's leisure facilities on Sport For All Day still available
***********************************************************

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced today (August 2) that most of the sessions for free use of sports centres' multi-purpose arenas (which can be converted into badminton/basketball/volleyball/netball courts) that will be open to the public during Sport For All Day on August 8 have been booked. The department appealed to hirers to make best use of the booked facilities.

Booking can still be made for other facilities. Limited sessions are available for facilities such as table tennis table, tennis court, bowling green, golf driving range, fitness room, water sports centres' windsurfing board. These facilities can be booked on a first-come-first-served basis at all Leisure Link booking counters at LCSD venues. Each person may book only one session of the leisure facilities irrespective of the type.

The public can also enjoy free admission to LCSD's swimming pools (except for Wan Chai Swimming Pool and Lai Chi Kok Park Swimming Pool) during Sport For All Day on August 8; no prior booking is required. Those interested should line up at the entrance to the pools before their opening hours of each session on that day for admission on a first-come-first-served basis.

Details of Sport For All Day are available at the LCSD homepage: www.lcsd.gov.hk. For enquiries, please call 1823.
