The final registers of electors for 2010 were published today (July 23).
"A total of 3,431,592 electors are listed in the final register for the geographical constituencies," a spokesman for the Registration and Electoral Office (REO) said today.
The distribution of electors for the five geographical constituencies is as follows:

The final register for the functional constituencies contains 225,639 electors.
"In the final registers, the records of more than 98,800 geographical constituency electors and of about 1,200 functional constituency electors have been updated," the spokesman said.
Statistical information about the final registers is available at the voter registration website (www.voterregistration.gov.hk).
For geographical constituencies, a full set of the final register is available for public inspection at the REO at 10/F Harbour Centre, 25 Harbour Road, Wan Chai. The section of the register pertinent to a particular district can also be inspected at the respective District Offices.
For functional constituencies, a full set of the final register is available for public inspection at the REO's Harbour Centre Office and its office at 10/F Guardian House, 32 Oi Kwan Road, Wan Chai, and the District Offices in Central, Mong Kok, Kwun Tong, Sha Tin and Tsuen Wan.
Notices on the inspection of the final registers were gazetted today.
