Amendments to drainage improvement works at Ta Kwu Ling and Sha Tau Kok gazetted

     The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (July 23) on proposed further amendments to the drainage improvement works at Tai Po Tin and Ping Che in Ta Kwu Ling, and Man Uk Pin and Lin Ma Hang in Sha Tau Kok.

     The proposed amendments, which aim to ameliorate the effect of the proposed works at the request of the public, include revision of the proposed limit of works area; construction of an additional footpath; addition of temporary or permanent closure of sections of the existing road and footpath for reconstruction as a footbridge and vehicular bridge.

     The second proposed amendment plans and scheme are available for public inspection at the following places during office hours:

(i)  Central and Western District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, Ground Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central;

(ii) North District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Ground Floor, North District Government Offices, 3 Pik Fung Road, Fanling; and

(iii) District Lands Office, North, 6th Floor, North District Government Offices, 3 Pik Fung Road, Fanling.

     Any person who wishes to object to the proposed further amendments should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16th floor, Murray Building, Garden Road on or before September 21.
