The Government announced today (July 16) that the Chief Executive has re-appointed Mr Nicky Lo Kar-chun as the Chairman of the Standing Commission on Civil Service Salaries and Conditions of Service for another term of two years from August 1, 2010, to July 31, 2012.
The Chief Executive has also re-appointed Ms Virginia Choi Wai-kam and Mr Chan Shui-shing as members, and appointed Miss Elaine Chan Wing-yi as a new member, to the Standing Commission. Their appointments will run from August 1, 2010, to July 31, 2012.
The Standing Commission advises the Government on principles and practices governing the pay and conditions of service of non-directorate civilian civil servants.
Other serving members of the Standing Commission are Professor Ho Lok-sang, Mr Andy Lo Kwong-shing, Mr Jeffrey Lam Kin-fung, Mr Barry Cheung Chun-yuen, Mrs Miranda Chung Chan Lai-foon and Mr Pang Yiu-kai.
