The Financial Secretary has re-appointed Mrs Angelina Lee Wong Pui-ling as a Non-Executive Director of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) under the authority delegated by the Chief Executive for a term of two years, from August 1, 2010, to July 31, 2012.
Announcing the appointment today (July 16), a government spokesman said, "As a Non-Executive Director of the SFC, Mrs Angelina Lee has been participating actively in promoting the corporate governance of the SFC during her tenure. We look forward to her continued contribution to the work of the SFC."
The SFC currently has seven Non-Executive Directors. The other serving Non-Executive Directors of the SFC are Mr Chan Kam-lam, Mr Kenneth Kwok Hing-wai, Mr Lawrence Lee Kam-hung, Professor Liu Pak-wai, Mr Wong Kai-man and Mr Zhang Shengman.
