Police are looking for witnesses to a traffic accident in Mong Kok on June 7 in which an 82-year-old man was seriously injured.
About 1.45am on June 7, a taxi was travelling along the fourth lane of Prince Edward Road West westbound. When approaching to the junction of Tung Choi Street, the 44-year-old driver reportedly heard a loud sound and found the 82-year-old man lied on the third lane of the road.
The man sustained head injuries and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The taxi driver was arrested for dangerous driving and was released on bail pending further enquiries and should report back to police station in late July.
Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are continuing.
