The Transport and Housing Bureau (THB) will hold a public forum tomorrow (July 6) on subsidising home ownership to listen to the views of the general public on the subject.
The forum, to be held at the Cultural Activities Hall of Tuen Mun Town Hall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, is the first of two public forums for the general public organised by the THB.
"Those who have reserved seats are reminded to attend,"a THB spokesman said.
For those who miss tomorrow's forum, there will be another open forum for the general public on July 21. The THB will also organise a forum for interest groups. Registration for both forums can be made by calling 2233 9320 (10am - 6pm, Monday to Saturday) or through the bureau's website. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis. The consultation exercise on subsidising home ownership will last until September 17, 2010. Views and suggestions collected will be forwarded to the Chief Executive for his consideration.
