Sites in Hung Hom Bay Reclamation and Argyle Street triggered for auction

     The Lands Department announced today (June 30) that two sites, one at Hung Hom Bay Reclamation Site D1, at the junction of Oi King Street and Hung Luen Road, Kowloon, Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11120, and the other at Ex-Civil Aid Service Training Centre, 204 Argyle Street, Kowloon, Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11125, had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List System.

     The two lots will be offered for sale at this financial year's fifth government land auction to be held on August 17, 2010 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai.

     A Lands Department spokesman said that the Government had accepted the applicants' minimum guaranteed bids of $1,770 million for Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11120 and $2,857 million for Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11125. These will be the opening bids at the auction subject to the reserve prices of the two lots.

     Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11120 has a site area of about 7,551 square metres and is designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes.  The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 20,387 square metres and 33,979 square metres respectively.

     Kowloon Inland Lot No. 11125 has a site area of about 7,326 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes.  The minimum gross floor area and the maximum gross floor area are 21,978 square metres and 36,630 square metres respectively.

     The final Conditions of Sale for the two lots will be available for distribution and uploaded onto the Lands Department's website (www.landsd.gov.hk) by July 30, 2010, when the particulars of the land auction will also be gazetted.
