URBTIX will introduce the pilot launch of Cityline ticket dispensing machines at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Coliseum and Kwai Tsing Theatre from Wednesday (June 23) to provide more convenient ticketing services to patrons.
With the new enhanced service, tickets booked within seven days of the performance on URBTIX Internet or telephone credit card booking services can be collected conveniently by the customer at the ticket dispensing machines any time during the opening hours of the three performance venues by swiping the credit card used for booking. They can also use the existing service of collecting their pre-paid tickets at any URBTIX outlet.
Tickets booked more than seven days before the performance via URBTIX Internet or telephone credit card booking services will still be delivered to customers by mail during the pilot launch.
If the pilot launch at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Coliseum and Kwai Tsing Theatre works out successfully, the ticket dispensing machines will soon be extended to the other 12 Leisure and Cultural Services Department performing arts venues.
Customers will be informed of the new option to collect tickets via the ticket dispensing machines on the website www.urbtix.hk or when they call the 2111 5999 hotline.
URBTIX ticketing services are available at www.urbtix.hk and 40 outlets at different locations. Telephone credit card booking on 2111 5999 can be made from 10am to 8pm daily.
