Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City this morning (June 19) in which two men, aged 26 and 28 respectively, were killed.
About 12.40am, a private car driven by a 26-year-old man was travelling along Waterloo Road towards Tsim Sha Tsui. When approaching Hereford Road, the car reportedly lost control and rammed into a flower bed on roadside.
The driver and the three passengers, aged between 23 and 28, sustained injuries and were rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. One of the 28-year-old passengers was certified dead at 1.26am and later the driver was certified dead at 1.57am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are under way.
