High-end Shanghai restaurant chain Jardin de Jade launches in Hong Kong

     Jardin de Jade, King Mang Jade Garden Group's high-end restaurant brand, launched its first outlet in Hong Kong today (June 17), adding an element of fine dining Shanghainese style for locals and visitors to Hong Kong.

     Jardin de Jade first opened in Shanghai in October 1999 and has since expanded nationwide with branches in Beijing and Macau, as well as being appointed as an official catering purveyor of Expo 2010 Shanghai China. Jardin de Jade's Macau outlet was recently recognised as a one-star establishment in the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong Macau 2010. The brand epitomises "a new innovative interpretation of Shanghai cuisine" and provides clients with an elegant and intimate dining atmosphere.

     Chief Executive Officer of King Mang Jade Garden Group, Ms Shelley Lee, said, "Hong Kong is at the centre of world culture, bringing together a variety of classical international cuisines. Many Hong Kong people have a passion for Shanghainese food. Jardin de Jade is well placed at the forefront of fresh, elegant and varied Shanghainese cuisine, bringing creativity to Chinese food culture and putting Hong Kong at centre stage of international fine dining."
