Lot in Ho Man Tin sold for $10.9 billion

     The Lands Department this afternoon (June 8) held the third land auction of the 2010-2011 financial year. A government lot in Ho Man Tin was sold for $10.9 billion.

     The lot, Kowloon Inland Lot No.11175 at the junction of Fat Kwong Street and Chung Hau Street, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, was sold to Polarland Limited at $10.9 billion. The opening bid was $6.8 billion. Kowloon Inland Lot No.11175 has a site area of about 16,151 square metres and is designated for private residential purposes. A minimum gross floor area of 48,453 square metres must be completed. The maximum gross floor area is 80,755 square metres.

     The auction was conducted at Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai, by the Deputy Director of Lands, Mr Graham Ross, who was assisted by the Assistant Director, Mr Jeff Lam.
