**********************************************************

Haibao, the mascot of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China (Shanghai Expo), has just been moved to Hong Kong Park to encourage people to visit Shanghai Expo from now till the end of October.

Haibao has enjoyed some good times in Sha Tin Park for the past six months, and has now found a new home in the Central business district to promote Shanghai Expo.

Haibao's city tour is an integral part of the Government's ongoing efforts to promote Hong Kong's participation in Shanghai Expo.

Indeed, he is no stranger to many Hong Kong people after his stops at Kowloon Park, Victoria Park and Sha Tin Park over the past 19 months. He will stay at Hong Kong Park until November 30.

Hong Kong has an active presence in Shanghai Expo. Apart from constructing and operating a stand-alone Hong Kong Pavilion under the theme "Hong Kong - Potential Unlimited", Hong Kong also takes part in the UBPA Exhibition under the theme "Smart CardĦESmart CityĦESmart Life"; has a presence in Expo Shanghai Online; and is holding over 55 events and activities during the six-month Expo to promote the city as a modern, vibrant and interconnected metropolis with high quality city life built on creativity and innovation.
