The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (May 28) on the improvement works to Pok Oi Interchange, which had been authorised by the Chief Executive in Council.
The works include construction of an additional lane to Yuen Long Highway northbound at Pok Oi Interchange; construction of a slip road connecting Pok Oi Flyover southbound to Yuen Long Highway; widening of sections of the existing carriageway at Yuen Long Highway southbound near Small Traders New Village and Yuen Long Highway northbound north of Pok Oi roundabout; construction of a segregated left turn lane at Yuen Long Highway southbound with associated subway extension; permanent or temporary closure and reconstruction/resurfacing of sections of the existing carriageways; construction of retaining walls, and modification and retrofitting of noise barriers; and ancillary works including geotechnical, landscape and drainage works.
