The Government announced today (May 13) the re-appointment of Dr Lo Ka-shui for one year and the appointment of Ms Anita Fung Yuen-mei for three years as members of the Airport Authority with effect from June 1, 2010. The re-appointment and appointment will be gazetted tomorrow.
A Government spokesman said: ˇ§Ms Fung has a solid banking background and will surely provide valuable input on the financial performance of the Authority.
ˇ§The Government is most grateful to the retiring member Mr He Guangbei for his invaluable contribution to the work of the Authority during his tenure. Mr He will retire from the Authority upon expiry of his term on May 31, 2010,ˇ¨ the spokesman added.
Under the Airport Authority Ordinance, the chairman and members of the Authority are appointed by the Chief Executive.
