The Under Secretary for Home Affairs, Ms Florence Hui, was invited to share her views on local football development with young people at the first Youth Exchange Session organised by the Commission on Youth (COY) today (May 8) at the Youth Square in Chai Wan.
Ms Hui said that the Government attached great importance to communicating with young people. She was pleased to attend the exchange session to have a closer contact with youths and to learn about their views on local football development.
The Chairman of COY, Mr Chan Chun-bun, said, "The COY encourages young people to take part in social affairs and express their views. The Commission will organise a series of exchange sessions and invite government representatives to attend so that youths will have more opportunities to exchange views with them on topics of concern."
"The Deputy Secretary for Education, Ms Esther Leung, will attend the coming exchange session to discuss non-means-tested loan schemes with young people. The details will be announced later", Mr Chan added.
