| The Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, this morning (April 30) visited Kunshan and met local officials and Taiwanese businessmen.
Chairman of Taiwan Compatriot Investment Enterprises Association of Kunshan, Mr Sun De-tsuan, said that Taiwanese businessmen in Kunshan had great a need for modern service industries, including financial services.
Mr Tsang encouraged the Taiwanese businessmen to consider listing their companies in Hong Kong, as well as raising financing and using the various related professional services in Hong Kong.
Kunshan is a popular place for Taiwanese investment, with about 3,800 Taiwanese-funded enterprises in the city. |
