Did you know that Hong Kong has the world's most durable disc jockey and youngest professional photographer?

Ray Cordeiro, known as "Uncle Ray" by music lovers in Hong Kong, joined Radio Television Hong Kong in 1960 and is still working as a DJ on the radio station. He was recognised as "The World's Most Durable DJ" by Guinness World Records in 2000.

Another world record holder is Jasmine Christine Diep, who was named "The Youngest Professional Photographer" by Guinness World Records in 2009. She was four years and 218 days old when she held her first exhibition in Hong Kong and published her first photo book in 2009.

Hong Kong is rich in biodiversity. Despite its small area, the city has 480 species of birds - over a third of the total bird species of China - and about 3,100 species of flowering plants, more than Britain which is 200 times larger than Hong Kong!

These are some of the "fun facts" you can discover about Hong Kong on the Brand Hong Kong (BrandHK) website - www.brandhk.gov.hk - which has been revamped to tie in with the launch of the revitalised BrandHK.

The new site has much more to offer, with a brand new video promoting multi-faceted Hong Kong and individuals sharing their feelings and experiences of Hong Kong. Meet them and listen to their stories in the (facesofhongkong.com) page of the website.

It's entertaining, interactive and easy to use - and full of nice surprises, including prizes if you join the "Faces of Hong Kong" photo mosaic activity by uploading a photo and telling your story about the city.

These are all part of the "Faces of Hong Kong" campaign, which marks the new marketing strategy to promote the city. "Faces of Hong Kong" brings BrandHK to life by using real stories and photos from people of all walks of life - and that includes you!

Learn about the DNA of the revitalised BrandHK - its core values and attributes, its positioning, platform and refreshed visual identity in the form of an evolved dragon icon.

There is also a new series of 13 fact sheets about Hong Kong, with topics ranging from its free and open society, lawful community, gateway position to the Mainland, connectivity, strengths as a financial, business, tourism and education hub to the cultural, innovation and green aspects of the city.

In totality, they tell you why Hong Kong is Asia's world city.

The website is also linked to other key websites promoting Hong Kong, namely those of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Invest Hong Kong, and Hong Kong's Economic and Trade Offices around the world.
