Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun early this morning (April 8) in which a 90-year-old man was killed.
About 5.52am, a light goods vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man was travelling along southbound Tsun Wen Road. When making a right turn into Tai Fong Street, it reportedly knocked down the 90-year-old man who was crossing the road.
The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.57am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, New Territories North, are underway.
