The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, will leave Hong Kong next Tuesday (March 30) for a two-day duty visit to Beijing.
Mr Cheung will call on the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Civil Affairs, State Administration of Work Safety, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council and the Beijing Office of the International Labour Organisation for an exchange on matters of mutual interest.
He will also meet a group of Hong Kong youths who are working as interns in enterprises in Beijing under the Labour Department's Internship Programme for University Graduates.
Mr Cheung will return to Hong Kong on Wednesday night (March 31).
