Temporary closure of Tai Po Sports Centre facilities

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (March 15) that the following facilities at Tai Po Sports Centre will be temporarily closed for refurbishment and improvement works:

     Facility                    Period of closure
     ========                    =================

     Squash Courts No. 2 and 3   March 18 to May 16

     Arena                       April 1 to June 15

     Booking Shroff Office       May 10 to May 31

     During the closure period, the public may use the facilities of the nearby Tai Wo Sports Centre, Fu Heng Sports Centre, Fu Shin Sports Centre, Tai Po Hui Sports Centre and Tai Po Sports Ground Squash Centre.
