Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai early this morning (February 28) in which a 34-year-old male driver was killed.
About 12.13am, a light goods vehicle (LGV) driven by a 34-year-old man was travelling along Nim Wan Road. When entering the entrance/exit of the New Territories West reclamation area, the LGV reportedly lost control and rammed into a metal fencing.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the driver was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.32pm.
Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
