The Shenzhen Wenjindu Port Passenger Clearance Area is closed from today (February 22) for reconstruction but the Cargo Clearance Area will not be affected.
Special arrangements have been made and on-board clearance service is provided to cross-boundary students starting today, a government spokesman said.
The spokesman reminds the public that affected cross-boundary buses and private cars may use other cross-boundary control points at Sha Tau Kok, Shenzhen Bay or Lok Ma Chau. A new cross-boundary bus service connecting Landmark North in Sheung Shui and Sha Tau Kok will also be provided from tomorrow (February 23).
Cross-boundary visitors should plan their trips well in advance and check the latest traffic conditions.
