     A total of 1 person died and 311 persons were injured in 219 traffic accidents which occurred throughout Hong Kong last week (February 14 to February 20).

     Forty-eight of these accidents occurred on Hong Kong Island, 77 in Kowloon and 94 in the New Territories.
