McDull and friends at Hong Kong Wetland Park for Chinese New Year (with photos)

     The Hong Kong Wetland Park will hold the Wetland Cultural Festival with the much-beloved McDull characters as the highlight, to share the joy and festivity of the Chinese New Year and offer visitors of all ages an enriched wetland journey from February 13-28.

     A mini-film "McDull at Wetlands" and a related thematic exhibition will be presented at the Human Culture Gallery.  Visitors can join McDull in his exploration of the wonders of Chinese characters and learn from teacher Miss Chan as to why the character "Home" has established long-standing relationship with McDull and wetlands. Between February 13-21, McDull and friends will be present to celebrate the new year with fans and distribute limited edition souvenirs.

     To indulge in the beautiful surroundings, visitors can join the relaxing yet informative guided tour to take a closer look at different wetland habitats and learn more about wetland plants and animals. Lucky participants may even encounter the rare Falcated Ducks that sometimes appear at the park at this time of year.

     Also on offer are a series of entertaining activities such as inspiring dramas, interactive workshops and exhibitions on "Wetlands, Biodiversity and Climate Change" as well as "Wetland Art Gallery". The Wetland Cultural Festival is a must-visit for those who are looking for a new experience of festive fun.
