Police appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui

     Police today (February 5) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui on January 24 in which a 46-year-old man was killed.

     About 11.30pm, a public light bus driven by a 55-year-old man was travelling along the second lane of Canton Road southbound. On reaching Kowloon Park Drive, the public light bus is believed to have hit a bicycle crossing the road.

     Sustaining serious injuries, the 46-year-old cyclist was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.30am on January 26.

     Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West, are proceeding.
