Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tai Po this afternoon (January 10) in which a 50-year-old man was killed.
About 4pm, a motorcycle driven by a 50-year-old man was travelling towards Tai Po along Bride¡¦s Pool Road. When approaching near Chung Mei, the motorcycle reportedly hit a lamppost.
Sustaining injuries to his left leg, the man was rushed to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.03pm.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North will be conducted.
