Two Lots in Tai Po sold for $10.4 billion

     The Lands Department this afternoon (December 28) held the second land auction of the 2009-2010 financial year.  Two Government lots in Tai Po were sold for $10.4 billion.

     The first lot, Tai Po Town Lot No 200, at Pak Shek Kok Development Area Phase 2, was sold to Top Gallant Limited for $5.15 billion.  The second lot, Tai Po Town Lot No 201, also at Pak Shek Kok Development Area Phase 2, was sold to King Regent Limited for $5.25 billion. The opening bid of both lots was $3.604 billion.  Both Tai Po Town Lot No 200 and Tai Po Town Lot No 201 have a site area each of about 20,925 square metres and are designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes.  A minimum gross floor area of 40,176 square metres for each site must be completed.

     The auction was conducted at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai, by Assistant Director of Lands, Mr Chris Mills, who was assisted by Chief Estate Surveyor Mr Tony Moyung.
