Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tai Po this morning (December 20) in which a 33-year-old man was killed.
About 4.20am, a motorcycle driven by a 33-year-old man was travelling on Bride's Pool Road towards Tai Po. When approaching Plover Cove Country Park Visitor Centre, the motorcycle reportedly lost control and hit the fence on the opposite side.
The rider sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital where he was certified dead at 5.33am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are under way.
