Police today (December 10) appealed for information about a traffic accident in Yuen Long on November 4 in which a 77-year-old man was killed.
A motorcycle ridden by a 40-year-old man was travelling along the Hung Shui Kiu section of Castle Peak Road towards Yuen Long about 6.50pm on November 4. When approaching Shun Tat Street, the motorcycle is believed to have hit a bicycle crossing the road.
Sustaining injuries to his head, both hands and legs, the 77-year-old cyclist was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.35am on December 5.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North, are proceeding.
