A drug news bulletin makes its debut online to update healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical traders about drug safety information.
The newsletter, entitled "Drug News", is issued monthly by the Pharmaceutical Service of the Department of Health to provide a summary of local and overseas drug safety news.
Health professionals and drug traders can make use of the information and provide corresponding advice and therapeutic measures to patients and customers.
The first issue of "Drug News" highlights drug safety information from overseas drug authorities, recent drug recall, warnings about slimming products with undeclared drug ingredients as well as medical advice on stopping products containing undeclared steroid.
It is now available at the website of Pharmaceutical Service (http://www.psdh.gov.hk/eps/DrugNews).
