The Government published a notice in the Gazette today (November 27) on amendments to ancillary road works for development at Anderson Road.
The proposed amendments include revision and realignment of Roads L4 and L5 and their associated footpaths; amendments to the junction arrangements at some roads; addition of bus/minibus lay-bys; addition of a section of vertical noise barrier along Road L6; addition of two footbridges, one across Shun On Road and the other across Lee On Road; amendment to the layout of the two originally proposed footbridges across Sau Mau Ping Road and Po Lam Road; deletion of the originally proposed quarry access and three originally proposed staircases leading to Shun On Road; revision of the ancillary works including slope stabilisation, landscaping and drainage works, and construction of retaining walls and safety islands; and revision of the limit of the works area.
The amendment plans and amendment scheme are available for public inspection at the following government offices during office hours:
(i) Central and Western District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Unit 5, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central;
(ii) Kwun Tong District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, Lower ground floor, Kwun Tong District Branch Offices Building, 6 Tung Yan Street, Kwun Tong;
(iii) Sai Kung District Office, Public Enquiry Service Centre, 1st floor, King Lam Neighbourhood Community Centre, King Lam Estate, Tseung Kwan O;
(iv) District Lands Office, Kowloon East, 10th floor, Yau Ma Tei Carpark Building, 250 Shanghai Street; and
(v) District Lands Office, Sai Kung, 3rd and 4th floors, Sai Kung Government Offices Building, 34 Chan Man Street, Sai Kung.
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed amendments should write to the Secretary for Transport and Housing, 16th floor, Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, on or before January 26, 2010.
