Police are investigating a traffic accident in Lok Ma Chau on November 10 in which a 78-year-old woman was killed.
At around 8am that day, a private car driven by a 45-year-old woman was travelling along Mai Po Section of Castle Peak Road towards Yuen Long. When reaching near Yau Mei San Tsuen, the private car knocked down the 78-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious multiple injuries, the woman was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 11pm on the same day.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic New Territories North, are proceeding
