Two sites in Tai Po successfully triggered for auction on December 28

     The Lands Department announced today (November 18) that two sites in Tai Po--Tai Po Town Lot No. 200 and Tai Po Town Lot No. 201, both at Pak Shek Kok Development Area, Phase 2--had been successfully triggered for sale under the Application List System.

     The two lots will be offered for sale at this financial year's second Government land auction to be held on December 28, 2009, at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Wan Chai.

     A Lands Department spokesman said that the Government had accepted the applicants' minimum guaranteed bids of $3,604 million for Tai Po Town Lot No. 200 and $3,604 million for Tai Po Town Lot No. 201. These will be the opening bids at the auction subject to the reserve prices of the two lots.

     Both Tai Po Town Lot No. 200 and Tai Po Town Lot No. 201 have a site area each of about 20,925 square metres and are designated for non-industrial (excluding godown, hotel and petrol filling station) purposes. A minimum gross floor area of 40,176 square metres for each site must be completed. The maximum gross floor area for each site is 66,960 square metres.

     The final Conditions of Sale for the two lots will be available for distribution and uploaded onto the Lands Department's website (www.landsd.gov.hk) by December 11, 2009, when the particulars of the land auction will also be gazetted.
