Suspected red tides sighted at beaches

Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

    The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (November 10) that due to sighting of suspected red tides, red flags have been hoisted at Clear Water Bay First Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung District; Silver Mine Bay Beach, Lo So Shing Beach, Hung Shing Yeh Beach, Cheung Chau Tung Wan Beach and Kwun Yam Beach in Islands District; and Repulse Bay Beach, South Bay Beach and Chung Hom Kok Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
