     A total of 316 persons were injured and one died in 280 traffic accidents which occurred throughout Hong Kong last week (October 18 to October 24, 2009).

     Fifty-nine of these accidents occurred on Hong Kong Island, 104 in Kowloon and 117 in the New Territories.
