As Halloween is approaching, our "vampire" friends have decided to visit the blood donor centres of the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) again to celebrate this festival with blood donors!
The spokesman for the BTS announced that the "vampires" will greet donors at the "Halloween Blood Donation Night" at the Kwun Tong and Mongkok Blood Donor Centres from 8pm to 10pm on Saturday, October 31. A "Halloween special drink" will be served and a secret "Halloween souvenir" will be presented to every donor after giving blood. A "spooky photographer" will be there to take donors' photos at the "Halloween standees". As this is a very special event, only 100 admission tickets will be available for each blood donor centre. They will be distributed from 8pm on October 31 at the Kwun Tong and Mongkok Blood Donor Centres on a first-come-first-served basis.
Those who cannot join the "Halloween Blood Donation Night" are welcome to visit any of the blood donor centres during the "Halloween Blood Donation Week" between October 27 and 31 (Tuesday - Saturday) to enjoy the Halloween ambience prepared for them. During that period, donors giving blood at the donor centres will receive a special Halloween souvenir.
