The Kowloon City District Office will on four consecutive Saturdays from October 24 hold bus parades to promote the importance of personal and community hygiene.
Parade buses will tour Hung Hom, Lung Tong, Ho Man Tin and To Kwa Wan. Kowloon City District Councillors and members of the respective Area Committees will distribute disinfectant packs and information leaflets to passers-by.
District Officer (Kowloon City) Miss Winky So said that her office has been working closely with the Kowloon City District Council and relevant government departments to organise various cleaning activities in the district, which were well received by the community. She urged people to continue to support the "Clean Hong Kong Campaign" and join hands to build a healthy and clean community.
From this June, the Kowloon City District Office and Kowloon City District Council have organised a series of cleaning activities to help prevent the spread of disease, including clean-ups of private buildings, inspection of hygiene blackspots and health talks.
