New District Officer for Eastern District (with photo)

     Mr Davis Hui will assume the post of District Officer (Eastern) tomorrow (October 5).

     Mr Hui joined the Government as an Executive Officer II in 1978. He has served in various bureaux and departments, including the former City and New Territories Administration, former Finance Branch, Transport Department, former Civil Service Branch, Marine Department, former Government Supplies Department, Protocol Division and Social Welfare Department.

     His last posting was Assistant Director of Home Affairs (Special Duties).
