The Government today (October 2) announced the re-appointment of Mr Ambrose Ho as Vice-Chairman of the Consumer Council for two years, with effect from October 7 (Wednesday).
Mr Ho is a senior counsel and has served on the Consumer Council since January 1, 2003. He was appointed the Vice-Chairman on October 7, 2007.
"Mr Ho is devoted to the work of the council and has contributed a lot in assisting the chairman in promoting consumer interests in Hong Kong. We are confident that his professional knowledge and rich experience in public service will be conducive to further enhancing the council¡¦s work in consumer protection," a government spokesman said.
The re-appointment notice is published in the Gazette today.
