326 new cases of human swine influenza

     A spokesman for the Department of Health said there had been 326 newly confirmed cases of human swine influenza (Influenza A H1N1) in the 24 hours to 2.30pm today (August 21).

     The new cases involve 174 males and 152 females, aged between six months and 78 years.

     This brings to 8,535 the total number of human swine influenza (HSI) cases in Hong Kong.

     The spokesman said that the total number of HSI cases might be revised according to further laboratory results.
