Police today (August 19) appealed to the public for information about a woman who collapsed in Cheung Sha Wan on May 8 and later died in hospital.
Police received a report about 10am on May 8 that an elderly lady was found on the pavement outside 538 Castle Peak Road. She was taken to Caritas Medical Centre and was certified dead on May 9.
The woman was about 80 years old and 1.5 metres tall. She was wearing a black and white top, black trousers and coloured sports shoes when found. She was not carrying any identity document.
Initial Police investigation did not indicate any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
Police urges anyone who knows the identity of the woman to contact investigating officers of Miscellaneous Enquiries Sub-Unit of Cheung Sha Wan Division on 2746 3318.
