New approach makes a fascinating Creation
*****************************************

Theatre of the Silence (TOS) takes an extraordinary approach in  its latest production "Creation 2009 Version", a fascinating journey from the beginning of time into the future.

Members of Theatre of the Silence will lead the audience on an adventure incorporating visual theatre and visual poetry ¡V crafting body movements and gestures into a work of art. The beginnings of everything, the explosion of our galaxy, the creation of space, the appearance of Earth, life spreading over the planet, and an exploration of what the future may hold - all are created with nothing more than the performers' bodies and the audience's infinite imagination.

TOS was founded in 2000 by a group of hearing-impaired theatre artists in Hong Kong. Members of TOS have plenty of stage experience and have worked with various theatre groups in exchange activities. With superb body movements, the troupe produces theatrical performances that are filled with unique and alternative aesthetics. TOS was selected as "The Best Theatre with a Difference" among "Asia's Best" by TIME Magazine in 2005 and its members are outstanding cultural ambassadors of Hong Kong.

The new production is under the artistic direction of Edwin Chan and Edward Chan. Actors include Edward Chan, Edwin Chan, Apple Cheng, Elaine Wong, Bob Wong and Hofan Chau.
