Police reclassified a person collapse case in Sai Kung on August 14 as murder yesterday (August 15).
About 6.50am on August 14, a 66-year-old woman made a report to the Police that she found her 88-year-old mother lying unconscious inside a hut at Shui Hau Tsuen, Sai Kung.
Police arrived the scene and located the woman. She was subsequently sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital, where she was certified dead at 7.38am.
The post-mortem examination revealed that the womanˇ¦s death was suspicious as a long bruise was found on her neck.
The case was reclassified as murder and investigations by District Crime Squad of Wong Tai Sin District are underway.
