The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (July 24) that in view of the recent development of human swine influenza and after consulting the Department of Health, its children's playrooms and Toy Library at Central Library would reopen from next Monday (July 27).
To prevent the spread of the flu, the department will thoroughly clean and disinfect the facilities before opening the playrooms and toy library. The number of people participating in activities or admitted to the facilities will be reduced. Staff will clean the facilities and toys after each session and users will be advised to use disinfectant hand soap when entering and leaving the facilities.
