The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Tsang Tak-sing, congratulated Miss Hannah Wilson on winning the second gold medal in the "Universiade" being held in Belgrade.
Hannah Wilson won gold in women's 100m butterfly in a time of 58.24 seconds, breaking the games record she had earlier set in the semi-final.
In an earlier event of women's 100m freestyle, Hannah Wilson clinched gold in a time of 54.35 seconds - setting a record for the games.
Mr Tsang said: "Miss Hannah Wilson fully demonstrates the spirit of excellence in sports. Her outstanding performance sets a good example for the youth sports in Hong Kong."
He encouraged Hannah Wilson to continue achieving remarkable results in the rest of the games.
