The Government today (June 19) announced that the Chief Executive had re-appointed Miss Elaine Chan Wing-yi as a member of the Standing Committee on Disciplined Services Salaries and Conditions of Service for a term of two years with effect from July 1.
The Standing Committee advises the Government on matters relating to the salaries and conditions of service of the disciplined services. It is currently under the chairmanship of Mr Barry Cheung Chun-yuen. Other serving members of the Standing Committee are Ms Wong Mee-chun, Ms Chiang Lai-yuen, Mr William Chan Fu-keung, Mr Ip Kwok-him, Mr Mark Lin, Mr Michael Lee Tze-hau, Mrs Margaret Leung Ko May-yee and Dr David Wong Yau-kar.
